Manager, Software Engineering
Bridgeville, PADescriptionAs an Engineering Manager, you will be leading our product engineering teams.
You will work with Product Managers and other internal partners in a fast-paced environment to deliver against our roadmap.
You should have a strong technical background and prior experience leading teams and improving engineering processes.
Responsibilities Lead and provide hands-on engineering support to all areas of product engineering to ensure deliverables meet or exceed performance and product quality.
Actively participate in design review, provide technical expertise and guidance to engineers ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Ensure applications are built to monitor availability, latency, and overall performance.
Monitor engineering processes and provide effective solutions to improve engineering process workflow.
Champion the practice of automated testing unit tests, UI & API testing to maintain software quality.
Cultivates a metrics-driven engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
Coach and mentor team to ensure that they can accomplish their goals.
Partner with internal partners and stake holders to set the operational strategy and quarterly roadmap and measuring and monitoring progress towards the set goals.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Customer support team to ensure the work done by the teams is communicated accordingly and the Support ticketing system is kept up to date.
Facilitate the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems/issues.
Generates different and novel ways to deal with work problems/opportunities.

Requirements BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams.
Skilled with software development and life cycle management concepts, practices, and procedures and how they are applied efficiently to lead a team of multiple disciplines.
Experience in software engineering using.
NET framework, C#, JavaScript libraries and Microsoft SQL Server.
? Azure, Composable architecture & Micro-Front ends.
? Experience working with Angular or similar Front-End Frameworks.
? Experience working on consumer facing products.
Experience working with large software platforms and coordinating across multiple teams and domains.
Experience with Azure cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices.
Excellent communication, Influencing and collaborations skills.
Strong people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, empowerment & delegation, and motivating teams.
