Participate in activities associated to 5S, Lean Manufacturing, KanBan Inventory Management, MRO supply system, and other progressive manufacturing concepts and programs.

Coordinates a daily production meeting with all factory associates at the start-of- shift to discuss production, safety, and quality issues.
Completion of all reports in a timely manner and follows company procedures and polices.
Supervises all hourly associates in the Forming area. (20-40 associates)
Communicates regularly with all supervisors, both individually and as a group to ensure good two-way communication concerning production issues.
Assists with hiring, bid certification, and disciplinary actions for production personnel.
Communicates directly with the Director of Production and Engineering Manager regarding problems with plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Performs SMA (Special Manufacturing Authorization) requests in a timely manner and communicates results to originator.
Enforces that the safety program is followed for all personnel to uphold standards of maximum safety for all associates, visitors, and suppliers.
Participate in group meetings for development of new cellular manufacturing facilities, specialized supervisor training, commutation meetings with factory and salary personnel, and daily staff meetings.
Development of training and setup documents and procedures for equipment and processes used in the Forming area to ensure production personnel are adequately trained and the area is run as a safe and cost-effective department.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience & Education
The minimum requirements for education and experience are listed below. Consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum High school diploma with good numerical and language skills.
classes
taken at a Technical College, Trade school, or specialized training in the programming of CNC machine centers or press operations, a plus.
Working knowledge and experience in the Deep Draw metal forming of products. Knowledge in Hydro forming, Hydraulic pressing, or Spin form knowledge of bonded metals a plus.
Experience in programming CNC machines to perform skiving and trimming operations. Experience and programming of HAAS horizontal lathes (models HL4 & SL30T) a plus.
Working knowledge of metal defects, finishing, and fabrication.
General aptitude for tooling design with hands-on experience in a metal working industry.
Experience in the setup of production equipment to include, lathes, presses, hand tools, and finishing equipment.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Problem Solving A3, and other progressive manufacturing concepts and systems preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
