Human Resource Coordinator
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Human Resource Officer, the Human Resource Consultant is responsible for various tasks associated with recruitment, orientation, benefits administration, and employee/management relations for all client companies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain requisition log for all client companies' open positions
- Place ads for open positions using newspaper, online, agency and college recruitment sources
- Act as point of contact for staffing agencies
- Sort through received resumes to find qualified candidates
- Schedule and conduct front-line interviews to fill current openings for all client companies
- Contact candidates to place offers of employment
-Prepare new hire paperwork
-Submit new workstation tickets and coordinate start date with management/IT
-Review the employee handbook, personnel and payroll paperwork on associate's first day Benefits/401k
-Notify eligible associates of enrollment opportunities
-Process enrollments/changes/terminations for Health, Vision, Dental and Ancillary benefits
-Answer employees' questions about claims, coverage and enrollment
-Act as point of contact with broker and insurance providers to address and resolve issues
-Notify terminated employees of COBRA rights and assist payroll in collecting COBRA payments
-Complete enrolled associates' disability claims
-Complete and submit unemployment paperwork
-Maintain HR data and metrics
-Schedule exit interviews for terminated associates when necessary
-Project based work as necessary dependent upon client companies
-Complete various tasks using 'PropertySmart' (proprietary software)
-Related job duties and tasks as needed
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
-Excellent organizational skills/ability to multi-task
-Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
-Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Internet
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field.
Wage and Hours:
27k- 28K with benefits in 90 days
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
