The Lab Supervisor will be responsible to
Supervise lab technicians and personnel daily
Set up lab equipment, maintain operable equipment at all times, and monitor all preventative and maintenance for the equipment.
Schedule personnel and tests, appropriately complete lab purchases, preventative maintenance, track and record throughput, train personnel, and validate all tests in the chemistry lab.
My client is seeking an experienced lab supervisor with
3years of supervisory experience in a lab environment, union shop experience is highly preferred and desired
Experience in setup of Leco Combustion, OES or GDS, Xray (XRF) testing equipment.
My client highly desires a candidate with a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or Materials Science and an additional 3 years of experience in a Chemical and/or Mechanical testing laboratory.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
