Consultant, Product Development

DDI currently has an opening for a Product Development Consultant based in our Pittsburgh world headquarters. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams in an applied R&D setting to develop content and scoring for a variety of tests and assessments and to assist with the development of leadership learning assets. The role includes significant opportunity for innovation, learning, and growth.
Developing innovative content and scoring for leadership tests, simulations, and assessments
Contributing to the development of learning content for leadership development solutions
Conducting validation studies of newly designed test and assessment solutions
Ensuring the technical integrity of solutions through the writing of technical reports, analysis of cross-client data, and creation of norms
Providing strategic input into new solutions and roadmaps for existing products (e.g., enhancements, upgrades, etc.)
Providing direct, expertise-focused consulting to clients on select delivery projects
Serving as a thought leader on testing, assessment, and leadership development topics for external audiences (e.g., professional conferences, white papers, etc.)
Required Qualifications
(These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job)
Education: Advanced degree in Industrial?Organizational Psychology or closely related field
Experience: 3 to 5 years' applied R&D experience in testing, assessment, and/or leadership development
Experience developing innovative and engaging technology-based assessments and development products/tools and reports
Knowledge, skills, and experience in managing large datasets, conducting multivariate statistical analyses, and presenting data and statistics to a variety of audiences
Ability to adapt to change quickly and approach unfamiliar challenges and tasks with initiative, enthusiasm, and resourcefulness
Strong planning and organizing skills, communication skills, customer focus, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to the role
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and partner effectively with clients to deliver high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. in Industrial?Organizational Psychology or closely related field
Knowledge, skills, and experience in R, item response theory, and/or machine learning
Knowledge, skills, and experience in developing and/or delivering engaging content for corporate leadership learning and development

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
